A Brief History...

     Elmer & Janette Leerssen purchased Coast to Coast Store in 1954 and operated the store at 150 West Broadway in Downtown Monticello (present day site of Monticello Vacuum Center) for 6 years until selling the store to Al Larson in 1972.

     One year after purchasing the Coast to Coast from Janette he relocated the store to its current location at 212 West 3rd Street, Monticello.

     In 2004, Al and Lynn Larson decided to retire. On September 30th, Shawn and Shelly Grady purchased Larson’s Ace Hardware from Al and Lynn.
